Place/Time: Univ. of Alaska Fairbanks, Gruening Building, Friday or Saturday 7- 11PM
Theme/Mood: We try to express the decadence of the old regime of the Camarilla.  This is a sect made by and for elders, it is a tried and true establishment for a bunch of old leeches.  The Camarilla has been successful in the past, but it is a struggle trying to keep things stable.  There is a power struggle between the old guard and the upstart neonates. Vampires are dark, dead creatures, we try to keep this as true in the Camarilla chronicle as it is in the Sabbat venue.  After all, if you lay a beautiful oriental rug over a cess pool, you still have to deal with the stench.
Character Restrictions: A Camarilla chronicle should be a political event. These Kindred are smart enough to know that violence can destroy the Masquerade and compromise the safety of the whole.  This being the case, we discourage extremely powerful characters and characters with combat oriented concepts without a well-developed background.  Strong characters are fine, but they must be well-played to keep the game balanced.  We also try to limit the number of characters with high level disciplines.  Advanced disciplines are uncommon at best.
Proxy Rules: Proxy characters may face a reduced role due to a limited ST cast.
Travel: This is Alaska. This is NOT vampire territory.  The few major cities in the state provide small (very small) islands of security.  Lupines will most definitely tear apart any cainite stupid enough to step out of Fairbank’s cramped safety.  Transportation to Alaska should be by air.  Those coming to Fairbanks must realize that this is a small city.  There are too many vampires here for a city twice its size.  Circumstances are desperate and resources are spread thin.
Challenges: Whenever possible, challenges will be resolved by roleplaying as opposed to extended rock-paper-scissors tests.  We prefer to leave rules behind in favor of roleplaying.
House rules: Any tests argued with the Narrator/ST are assumed to be relented to.  Players MUST sign in or they will not be awarded experience for the evening.  If a player drops out of character excessively, this will be reflected in lower XP awards.
