With the University on the hill and the scum on the streets, it's an ideal place to make a living for those of those who call the night home. And in Alaska, the night can last forever. During the winter, the Kindred of the city wield frightening control over every aspect of life while the innocents stay bundled up at home from the cold darkness. The crime rate is just high enough to cover up strange incidents, but how long can the Masquerade remain intact with the threat of Sabbat and Anarch riots? The lopsided Kindred to Mortal ratio makes feeding difficult, and the presence of hunters in the city is a serious problem. Unlife in Fairbanks is anything but easy. |
